How boring. Just thrill and spite....there's nothing to it! You're spiteful when you go to the boutique store, even.

You know what's boring? Being maggot food six feet under. That's what happens when you overreach.

You know what's worse? Being a pessimist with zero worthwhile goals. Surviving-- that's my day to day. Why not want to do better than just that?

What I want comes second to what I have to do right now. Until the people that hired me have everything they want, my priorities are significantly shifted towards ensuring they get it.

If I want a shot at getting back to what I want to do, doing it the way I prefer to, I have to stay alive long enough to get there. End of story.

So you get to be someone's bitch until they're done mopping their juices off you. Nice. Sound really glamorous.

You'd do exactly the same if you knew what they were capable of. There are some bets you just don't take.

I can't say I'd sell myself out to that point.

Then you'd be dead. That's seriously all there is to it. You're either with them, or you're dust.

You're underestimating me, and usually I'd let that slide from someone so lowkey, but I'm getting sort of irritated.

My ego is enough to rival the blazing sun-- as it well should. I know when to be afraid, I very well do. And some not so secret evil organization-- I'm more than familiar with that.

This isn't an organization, it's a force of goddamn nature. It's not just something to be afraid of, it's the thing that creates fear itself. We are talking about a cruel, vengeful goddess, and I do mean that without exaggeration.
