You know what's worse? Being a pessimist with zero worthwhile goals. Surviving-- that's my day to day. Why not want to do better than just that?

What I want comes second to what I have to do right now. Until the people that hired me have everything they want, my priorities are significantly shifted towards ensuring they get it.

If I want a shot at getting back to what I want to do, doing it the way I prefer to, I have to stay alive long enough to get there. End of story.
